The Free State town of Trompsburg is known as a farming area. It was actually established by Jan and Bastiaan Tromp, who named it Jagersfontein. It’s about 120km away from Bloemfontein and many people heading from Gauteng to the Cape make the Perdeberg Guest Farm their overnight stay and end up staying much longer.
