Phumelelo Lodge – Mabalingwe Nature Reserve

Phumelelo Lodge is a big 5-game lodge which is beautifully positioned on a hill in the Waterberg Mountains. It is fairly close to Bela-Bela and is found in the Mabalingwe Nature Reserve, which is malaria free. The private game reserve is home to lion, leopard, rhino, hippo, zebra, wildebeest, warthog, hyena, plenty of birds and a variety of antelope. There is also a floodlit waterhole and guests can enjoy early morning or afternoon game drives with an experienced ranger.

The entire lodge complex has a very attractive dining area, a lounge and fireplace, a cocktail bar, lounging areas with fireplaces as well as an upper deck with awesome views across the African plains and river.
