Riverfield Guest House | Kuruman, Northern Cape
Kuruman is the main town in the Kalahari region and is known as the oasis of the Kalahari. People are surprises at the greenness of the town which has a permanent source of water from its mineral spring known as Die Oog or The Eye. This mineral spring delivers an unbelievable 20 million litres of water every day. Kuruman was also home to the well known Robert Moffat, a Scottish missionary, who lived in the town and built the world-famous Moffat church which still exists today.
