There are some places in South Africa which have some special beauty and attraction, and the Wild Coast is one such place, with its own unique, wild, rugged beauty. Its magic is that is has largely managed to avoid being spoiled by huge accommodation establishments along with masses of humanity. Today, the Wild Coast is still an eco-haven of magnificent coastline complete with indigenous coastal forest.

Mbotyi River Lodge is found in this paradise, and the lodge has been designed in keeping with the natural area that surrounds it. Just bear in mind that the lodge is separate from the camping facilities.

• The campsite at Mbotyi is upmarket, with electricity, purified water and 24-hour security
• The property is fenced, and there is safe parking.
• The campsite is not part of the lodge – it is a separate entity
• Three 6-sleeper Pondo Huts
• Two 2-sleeper rooms.
• Note that the campsite is not a self-catering facility.No crockery, cutlery or linen is provided, but is available for hire. However, they recommend you bring your own.
• Communal Facilities include kitchens, spotless ablution facilities, a dining area, braai area.
