Petersfield is a working export citrus and rooibos tea mountain estate, with wonderful views over the Cederberg mountains and lush orchards.

Petersfield offers its guests the option of four lovely self-catering cottages, each well-spaced about 1km from the next. This beautiful 2000-hectare wilderness area is particularly sought after because it is pet-friendly, too, although the one cottage, Stonehaven Cottage, is not. Petersfield welcomes all cats and dogs by special arrangement, and pets are allowed to sleep in the rooms with their owners and go on walks as well. Pets stay free.

The farm is situated 5km from Citrusdal which is an added attraction for guests who want to do some shopping or who want to visit one of the trendy restaurants and coffee shops in the town.
