Many of us have forgotten what it is like on a farm. Our lives have become so stressful and cluttered that we could all do with a complete break and experience the tranquility of a true farm. Thabametsi is a working farm, 20km outside of the town of Magaliesburg, with exquisite views of the mountain. You will be delighted to go to sleep with the call of a jackal instead of the screeching of brakes and sirens.

Thabametsi has a number of lovely self-catering bungalows and cottages which are fully equipped as well as camping facilities.

Children will have an absolutely marvellous time on this farm with the farm animals and even a pony ride, and staff are available to take the kids for a walk or keep them entertained with crafts. Art classes can also be arranged. There is fishing,  cycling, walks, and bird watching. Firewood is also available for braaing.
