Rietpoort Game and Guest Farm – Trompsburg, Free State
The wonderful Rietpoort guest farm is situated a few kilometres from Trompsburg on the N1. It’s a merino sheep farm where holidaymakers can even watch the sheep being sheared. When the sheep lamb, the kids, and even bottle-feed those lambs without mothers. Rietpoort is also a game farm, so one can see black wildebeest, springbok, and gemsbok.
