Barrydale is a fabulous small town on the famous Route 62 and in the Tradouw Valley at the foot of the Langeberg Mountains. Route 62 is a fantastic wine route with plenty of things to see and admire along the way. Visitors to the town can also enjoy great restaurants and coffee shops, and lots of hiking opportunities.

The town is also close to Warmwaterberg Spa, a natural hot spring. The wonderful The Red Rooster is a self-catering cottage surrounded by a beautiful; organic garden and offering visitors superb mountain views.
